Experience:
Lee received his degree from the University of Houston in 1983. He started his career years earlier with the Whitehall Hotel located in Houston, where he was hired as the General Storeroom Manager. He spent 7 years at The Whitehall Hotel advancing up to Director of Purchasing and then as the Hotel's Credit Manager. While working for The Whitehall Hotel, Lee was also attending classes at the University of Houston in pursuit of a degree in Finance. The business experiences gained while working for an internationally owned hotel chain were immeasurable. In 1982, Lee joined Logan Distributing in Houston, where he worked as a Sales Representative and Business Partner. Lee left Logan Distrubuting in 1983 to join Hargrave Electric Inc. as Assistant Controller. Once at Hargrave Electric, Lee learned the construction industry first-hand by taking Electrical Estimating classes, and then performing take-offs and bidding several large construction projects. He later supervised several projects as a Project Manager. Lee was advanced to Financial Controller in 1986, and then to Vice-President/CFO in 1992. As a Principal, Lee oversees all the Accounting and Financial duties such as monthly financial statements, bonding and risk management procurement, investment strategies, collection duties, credit and banking relationships, and computer operations.
